"When I first started my design business in 1996, I wanted to design fabrics and accessories with my art, but even with my very cooperative vendors, minimum orders were still anywhere from five hundred to a thousand yards. I had no place to store inventory and didn't want a brick and mortar business. I had many superlative design houses to choose from that so I stuck to ordering the best fabrics money can buy and looking for licensing opportunities. For my very high end clients, however, we really were limited in what we could do as far as completely custom fabrics. Having installed numerous projects with such vendors as Stark / Old World Weavers, Scalamandre, Osborne and Little, ALL the antique and accessory shops from here to New Orleans, and Gearys Beverly Hills for tabletop, I became educated on knowing what a quality home goods look like. This empowers me to shop price and quality with assurance.
