Summer Night Music

"Our home on Bayou Bernard was surrounded by pecan trees, which bore nuts every year that began with a bright almost chartreuse green pod. These were no fun to step on in bare feet! I was so delighted to find that a huge pecan tree sits at the back of our property in the bay, and my beloved cicadas (aka locusts) were singing all night"
