"While having lunch the other day with my friend who has manifested herself into a very successful screenwriting career, I commented on her necklace that had a quote on the back that she said helped her through a really hard year, and she noticed a ring I was wearing that I bought for myself and for my son that said "GRIT". We talked a bit about the things we do to keep ourselves spiritually uplifted in our careers, our relationships, and our parenting. We agreed that we have both always found little talismans like this to gaze upon when we need a little lift.
